Mary Ella Cowan is a second generation native to Tombstone. Her mother was born here in the early 1900's. Reared on a ranch in Cochise County, Mary Ella reared 3 daughters who all graduated from Tombstone High School. She has seen many changes over the years in Tombstone. Most overwhelming is the growth of tourism.
Mary Ella obtained her Sales License in 1971, Brokers license in 1977 and opened Rustic Realty in Tombstone in 1978.
Rustic Realty has been in business 25 years and is a registered trade name in Arizona.
Mary Ella has a great love for horses and has competed in Team Roping and Breakaway Roping. She and her husband own Double C Quarter Horse Ranch and raise Registered Quarter Horses. They stand 'CC Diggy Diggy Du', 'Cash The Green' and 'CC The Kid' to outside mares.
